Description: A Drawing of various parts or diagrams related to different mechanisms will be provided to students. These pictures and questions related to them will be assigned according to the year of the student.

Name: Tech Trek
Description: In this round, 2 to 3 teams will be participating where-in they will start on the first block of the board. A volunteer will be moving a piece representing their team on a board. There will be 20 boxes on the board and all the boxes are assigned different topics or domains related to mechanical engineering. Jury Member/faculty member will be asking question to the team members and the piece will advance a maximum of 5 spaces if the team members answer the questions correctly. Out of the 2 to 3 teams participating, after the rounds of questions are conducted, only one team will advance into the final round.

Name: Collaborative CAD Design Challenge
Description: In the final round, the teams will be assigned a mechanical component assembly. For ex. A gearbox with two spur gears in 3:1 Gear Ratio, two shafts and a housing. The judging criteria will be on how effectively did the team complete the given task in a time frame while adhering to the dimensions given, perfect assembly and overall, if it meets all the requirements. If the team completes the task before the assigned time with all the requirements fulfilled then it wins and advances further in Genesis as the Departmental team of Mechanical.
